American Theater Company has extended its world premiere production of Ayad Akhtar’s Disgraced. Directed by Kimberly Senior, the production will now run through March 11.
Set in modern-day New York City, the play focuses on a Muslim-American lawyer who is rapidly moving up the corporate ladder while distancing himself from his cultural roots. At the moment of achieving his life-long ambitions, he falls victim to professional and personal betrayals. The company features Usman Ally, Alana Arenas and Behzad Dabu.
