PHOTO FLASH: Richard Dreyfuss Honored by Gray Line New York’s Ride of Fame

Academy Award winner Richard Dreyfuss was on hand for the unveiling of a double decker tour bus bearing his likeness, earlier today at the Cherry Lane Theatre, where the actor is starring in the play Imagining Heschel.
The actor was being honored as an “outstanding New Yorker” by Gray Line New York and its Ride of Fame, and took a tour on his new bus, along with 30 of his fans. Previous honorees include Donald Trump, Rachael Ray, Whoopi Goldberg, Henrik Lundqvist , and Reggie Jackson.
Dreyfuss’ other stage credits include Sly Fox and Death and the Maiden on Broadway and Complicit at the Old Vic. He won an Academy Award for The Goodbye Girl and was nominated for a second Oscar for his performance in Mr. Holland’s Opus. He currently appears on the hit TV show Weeds.
