On Wednesday, March 31,
John Tartaglia’s Imaginocean opened at
New World Stages.
Conceived and written by Tartaglia, with music by William Wade, the musical follows the adventure of a group of fish friends who uncover a map which leads them to ultimately uncover the treasure of each other’s friendship. The production is directed by Donna Drake; the puppets for the piece are designed by The Puppet Kitchen; the set is by Robert Kovach.
Among the celebrities who attended the opening were Linda Dano, Christy Carlson Romano, Michael Urie, Ann Harada, Rick Lyon, Christopher Sieber, B.D. Wong, Terri Colombino, Peter Scolari, Lucas Steele, Colleen Zenk Pinter, and Elmo.
