On Thursday, August 2, the Off-Broadway production of The Last Smoker in America opened at the Westside Theatre with Andy Sandberg at the helm.
Opening night guests included Jeannette Bayardelle, Hunter Bell, Danny Burstein, Christopher Durang, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Troy Johnson, Henry Krieger, Alice Ripley, and Karen Ziemba.
Starring Farah Alvin, Natalie Venetia Belcom, John Bolton, and Jake Boyd, the musical is set in a world where smoking has recently been outlawed. The show features music by Peter Melnick, a book and lyrics by Bill Russell, and choreography by AC Ciulla.
