Pearl Theatre Company Announces 2010-2011 Season at New York City Center logo
The Pearl Theatre Company, in residence at New York City Center Stage II, has announced programming for its 2010-2011 season.

Michael Frayn's The Sneeze, adapted from plays and stories by Anton Chekhov will begin the season, running September 17-October 31. J.R. Sullivan will direct.

Henrik Ibsen's Rosmersholm will run November 12-December 19, in a new version adapted by Mike Poulton, and directed by Elinor Renfield. Moliere's The Misanthrope will run January 14-February 20. Joseph Hanreddy will direct the English verse translation by Richard Wilbur.

The season will conclude with the New York premiere of David Davalos' Wittenberg, March 11-April 27. J.R. Sullivan will direct this Shakespeare-inspired piece, which imagines Doctor Faustus and Reverend Martin Luther, vieing for the allegiance of their star pupil, Prince Hamlet, who can't decide on a major.
