The cast of Eve Ensler‘s Emotional Creature, to make its Off-Broadway debut at the Pershing Square Signature Center, met the press on Thursday, October 11.
The show — comprised of original monologues and songs about and for girls — originated at Berkeley Rep. The production, directed by Jo Bonney with musical direction by Charl-Johan Lingenfelder, will begin performances October 26, in advance of a November 12 opening.
The cast features 2012 Drama Desk nominee Joaquina Kalukango, along with Ashley Bryant, Molly Carden, Emily S. Grosland, Sade Namei, and Olivia Oguma.
