Mary-Louise Parker to Star in Dead Man's Cell Phone
The play concerns a woman who answers a ringing cell phone that belongs to a dead man and then gets involved with his family and friends. Ruhl is the author of The Clean House and Eurydice. The show's creative team includes G.W. Mercier (sets and costumes). Brian Scott (lighting), and Darron L. West (sound).
Parker won the Tony Award for Proof and received Tony nominations for Reckless and Prelude to a Kiss. She won an Obie Award, among other honors, for How I Learned to Drive. She has won a Golden Globe Award for her current Showtime series Weeds, an Emmy Award for Angels in America, and an Emmy nomination for The West Wing.
