Kristine Nielsen and Cameron Ocasio will complete the Broadway cast of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, which will begin previews at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre on September 20 in anticipation of an official opening on October 13.

As previously reported, the cast will star Benjamin Walker in the title role, along with James Barry, Darren Goldstein, Greg Hildreth, Jeff Hiller, Lucas Near-Verbrugghe, Bryce Pinkham, Nadia Quinn, Maria Elena Ramirez, Kate Cullen Roberts, Ben Steinfeld, and Emily Young.

Nielsen, who will play the role of Storyteller, received Obie Awards for Betty’s Summer Vacation and Dog Opera, and has previously appeared on Broadway in To Be Or Not To Be, Spring Awakening, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Greenbird, Jackie: An American Life, and The Iceman Cometh.

Ocasio, who is 10 years old, will be making her Broadway debut in the role of Lyncoya.

Written and directed by Alex Timbers, with music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, the show recreates and reinvents the life of “Old Hickory,” from his humble beginnings on the Tennessee frontier to his days as our seventh Commander-in-Chief.

The production features scenic design by Donyale Werle, costume design by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Justin Townsend, sound design by Bart Fasbender, and choreography by Danny Mefford — all of whom are repeating their duties from the Off-Broadway run.
