Kevin Augustine, Alan Calpe, Karen Zasloff, et al. Part of Labapalooza Puppet Festival

St. Ann’s Warehouse has announced the eight pieces that will be presented as part of its annual Labapalooza, a mini festival of new puppet theater, to run June 23-27.

The Festival will be presented in two parts. Program A will include George Ferrandi, David McQueen and Jason Anthony’s A Clockwork Gospel; Karen Zasloff’s Regarding Shadows on the Grass, Matt Reeck and Deborah Simon’s Coyote Pursues, which will include video from Dan Wonderly; and The Collector of Lies, which will be directed by Laurie O’Brien and have music by Michael McHam.

Program B will feature Kevin White’s The Wayfaring Zombie, Alan Calpe’s Before & Still, as well as excerpts from Serra Hirsch and Sophia Remolde’s The Dali Project and Kevin Augustine’s Hobo Grunt Cycle, which will include animation by Tarik Cherakoui and music by Clint Davis.
