Katharine McPhee and Waitress Cast to Sing Sara Bareilles Songs in BC/EFA Event

On Sunday, May 13, at 7pm and 9:30pm, Katharine McPhee and the cast of Waitress will perform the music of Sara Bareilles in a special benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Directed by cast members Molly Jobe and Matt DeAngelis, the shows will feature the cast of Bareilles's Broadway musical singing an array of songs from her albums, including hits like "Brave," "Love Song," and "Gravity." The band will include music director Adam Kaufman on piano, Ryan Vona on guitar, Jon Epcar on drums, Jeff Allen on bass, Alex Foote on guitar, and Yair Evnine on cello.
The current cast of Waitress includes McPhee as Jenna, Christopher Fitzgerald as Ogie, Drew Gehling as Dr. Pomatter, Benny Elledge as Cal, Caitlin Houlahan as Dawn, Ben Thompson as Earl, Steve Vinovich as Joe, and NaTasha Yvette Williams as Becky. Inspired by Adrienne Shelly's 2007 motion picture, Waitress features songs by Bareilles, a book by Jessie Nelson, and direction by Diane Paulus.
