Julia Stiles, Tony Danza, Marlo Thomas, Kieran Culkin to Take Part in Labyrinth's NEWYORKNEWYORK Festival Marathon
Forty-eight hours of play readings will include works by Lorraine Hansberry, David Henry Hwang, Kenneth Lonergan, and more.
Kieran Culkin (subUrbia), Tony Danza (The Producers), Julia Stiles (Oleanna), and Marlo Thomas (Relatively Speaking) are among the stage and screen favorites who will take part in Labyrinth Theater Company's upcoming NEWYORKNEWYORK Festival marathon weekend, taking place March 22-24 at the company's home, the Bank Street Theater.
The 48-hour 'round-the-clock marathon will feature readings of plays by over twenty New York playwrights, including Maria Irene Fornes, Lorraine Hansberry, David Henry Hwang, Kenneth Lonergan, Arthur Miller, Clifford Odets, Miguel Pinero, and more. Tickets to the readings are free and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis before each reading.
Joining Culkin, Danza, Stiles, and Thomas will be Max Casella (The Atmosphere of Memory), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Liza Colon-Zayas (Water by the Spoonful), John Doman (The Wire), Tate Donovan (Good People), Halley Feiffer (Medieval Play), Michael Kelly, Elizabeth Kemp (L.A. Law), Josh Hamilton (Dead Accounts), Sarah Nina Hayon (A Bright New Boise), Florencia Lozano (Red Dog Howls), Julia Murney (Falling), Tony Plana (Ugly Betty), Elizabeth Rodriguez (The Motherf**ker With the Hat), and Tony Award nominees Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent) and Yul Vazquez (The Motherf**ker With the Hat).
