Grand Concourse, a new play written by Heidi Schreck and directed by Kip Fagan, is now in performances at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater through November 30. Starring Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Ismenia Mendes, Bobby Moreno, and Lee Wilkof, the production follows Shelley (Bernstine), the manager of a Bronx soup kitchen whose heart is no longer in her work. She then meets Emma (Mendes), an idealistic but confused young volunteer with mixed intentions, whose recklessness pushes Shelley to the breaking point. Take a look at the cast in performance on the Playwrights Horizons stage.
