Dresses Featured on Project Runway to Be Auctioned for BC/EFA
The dresses featured in the August 20 episode of the design reality television series, Project Runway, will be auctioned off for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
On the episode, some of New York City’s most famous drag queens were enlisted to be clients/models to the fashion designers, who are competing to win $100,000 to begin his or her own design line and other prizes.
Among the participants were “Sweetie,” also known as Daniel T. Booth, who will co-star in the Vineyard’s upcoming production of Tarell Alvin McCraney’s new play Wig Out!, as well as Varla Jean Merman, Sherry Vine, and Hedda Lettuce.
