CBS Will Continue to Telecast Tonys Through 2010
The ATW has also announced that Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss will be executive producers of the 2004 Tony Awards and that Weiss will serve as the broadcast’s director for his fourth year. (He won an Emmy Award for his work on the 2002 telecast.)
The 2004 Tony ceremony will be telecast live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 6, from 8pm-11pm. The eligibility cut-off date for the awards this season is Wednesday, May 5, and nominations will be announced on Monday, May 10.
According to Jed Bernstein, president of the League of American Theatres and Producers, “This is a great day for the Tony Awards.
