Campbell, Cunningham, Peil, Regan Set for Long Wharf's The Cocktail Hour
Gurney's other works for the stage include The Dining Room, The Middle Ages, and Mrs. Farnsworth; his current play, Post Mortem, continues through December 16 at the Flea in New York City. He will talk about his work after the matinee of The Cocktail Hour on Sunday, January 28.
Campbell, who will play John, received an Obie Award for Small Tragedy. Among his many other stage credits are Hamlet, Aphrodisiac, and Living Room in Africa. Cunningham, who will play Bradley, has starred on Broadway in such shows as Amour, Six Degrees of Separation, Company, and 1776. He won an Obie Award for Quartermaine's Terms, and he starred in the Manhattan Theatre Club production of Gurney's Sylvia.
