There were more stars in the heavens than usual on Monday, March 6 as notables from the theater, film, and TV world partied at the Rainbow Room, high atop the GE building in Rockefeller Center, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, NY. Hosting the event were Alec Baldwin, who’s currently appearing in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of Joe Orton’s Entertaining Mr. Sloane; and star of stars Julie Andrews, who’s also the mother of Emma Walton, one of the theater’s co-founders.
Also on hand: the wonderful actress Kate Burton, whose mother, Sybil Christopher, is another of Bay Street’s co-founders…
…Max von Essen, who’ll be playing Patrick Dennis in the upcoming Kennedy Center production of Mame…
