PHOTOFLASH: Christina Ricci and Sigourney Weaver Honor Ang Lee and James Schamus
Carroll Baker, Christopher Durang, Tammy Grimes, Christina Ricci, and Sigourney Weaver were among the celebrities on hand on Wednesday, November 18 at the National Arts Club (NAC), where the NAC’s Film Committee honored Oscar-winning director Ang Lee and Oscar-nominated screenwriter James Schamus with the group’s Medal of Honor.
Lee and Schamus have worked together on many films, including Brokeback Mountain, for which Lee won the Academy Award for Best Director, as well as Taking Woodstock, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Sense and Sensibility, Eat Drink Man Woman, and The Ice Storm, which starred Weaver and Ricci.
Schamus is also the CEO of Focus Features and is a professor at Columbia University.
