On Thursday, August 9, The Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park production of Into the Woods opened at the Delacorte Theater where it will run through September 1. The production is directed by Timothy Sheader with co-direction by Liam Steel.
Opening night guests included Laura Benanti, Patricia Clarkson, Alan Cumming, Sally Field, Michael Friedman, Joanna Gleason, Bill Heck, Maggie Lacey, Camryn Manheim, Cynthia Nixon, Daniel O’Donnell, Steven Pasquale, Tonya Pinkins, Rutina Wesley, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Chris Sarandon, John Patrick Shanley, Alex Timbers, and Christine Quinn.
