Showtime Renews Nurse Jackie, Cancels United States of Tara
Showtime has renewed the dark comedy Nurse Jackie for a fourth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show stars Edie Falco, currently on Broadway in The House of Blue Leaves, and features stage veterans Eve Best, Dominic Fumusa, and Anna Deaveare Smith.
THR also reports that Showtime has canceled The United States of Tara, which stars Tony Award nominee and Emmy winner Toni Colette.
