Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Hudson Mainstage’s I’d Rather Be Right

Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Los Angeles premiere of the 1937 Rodgers & Hart musical, I’d Rather Be Right, to run at Hudson Mainstage, April 24-June 1. The production will be directed and choreographed by William Mead and feature musical direction by Brian O’Halloran.

I’d Rather Be Right is a musical fantasy in which Franklin D. Roosevelt meets a young couple in Central Park and he tries to balance the budget so they can get married.
The show’s original Broadway production ran for nearly 300 performances.

The cast will feature Walter Beery, Thomas Dolan, Kristen Heitman, Carol Herman, Joe Joyce, Matt Kubicek, Alli McGinnis, Nancy Dobbs Owen, Lyndie Renee, Dan Spector, Christina Valo, Stephen Vendette, Tom Walz, and Kimberly Wood.

The creative team will also include Jeremy Pivnick (lighting design), Victoria Profitt (set design), and A. Jeffrey Schoenberg (costume design).
