Kathleen Chalfant, Mercedes Ruehl, Ain Gordon, et al. Set for Bay Street’s Stories Left To Tell
Kathleen Chalfant, Mercedes Ruehl, Ain Gordon, Michael Cunningham, and Hazelle Goodman are set to perform in a one-night only performance of Spalding Gray: Stories Left To Tell at Bay Street Theatre on November 28 at 8pm. Lucy Sexton will direct.
The piece, conceived by Gray’s widow Kathleen Russo along with Sexton, charts a uniquely personal journey through the late monologist’s inimitable perspective and voice, featuring excerpts from his monologues, including Swimming to Cambodia, Monster in a Box and Life Interrupted, juxtaposed with journal entries, poems, and other unpublished — and previously unperformed — writing.
