Zoe Birkett, Amy Diamond, George Maguire Set for UK Benefit Concert of Hair

Director Gary Lloyd will direct a special concert version of Hair at the Piccadilly Theatre as a one-night fundraiser for Help for Heroes on Sunday, July 1 at 7:30pm.
With a book and lyrics by James Rado and Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot, Hair tells the story of Claude, a hippie living a life of self exploration, meditation, peace and love. He and his tribe resist the looming draft and spend much of their time in passionate protest against the Vietnam War.
The concert will feature Zoe Birkett (Dionne), George Maguire (Berger), and Amy Diamond (Sheila). Additional casting will be announced at a later date.
