The double bill of Terence Rattigan's The Browning Version and David Hare's South Down, seen at Chichester Festival Theatre in 2011, will transfer to the West End's Harold Pinter Theatre, according to a report on Angus Jackson and Jeremy Herrin, respectively, will once again direct the pieces, which will begin performances on April 19 before officially opening on April 24.

Rattigan's play centers on a teacher about to retire, who embittered and tyrannical and coping with a broken marriage, finds himself transformed by a student's act of generosity.

Hare's play, set at a college in Sussex, focuses on a student, who is cut off from the rest of the school by virtue of his own intellect, background and questioning spirit.

The company for the plays includes Anna Chancellor, Nicholas Farrell, Jonathan Bailey, Andrew Woodall, Mark Umbers, Amanda Fairbank-Hynes, Bradley Hall, Rob Heaps, Alex Lawther and Liam Morton.

The creative team includes production designer Tom Scutt, and lighting designer Bruno Poet, along with Ian Dickinson who creates sound design for Autograph and Paul Englishby who has written original music.
