Cirque du Soleil has announced that it will develop two shows featuring Michael Jackson’s music and songs. The first show will be an arena touring show which is slated to launch from Las Vegas in late 2011.
The second piece will be a permanent show that will debut in Las Vegas in 2012, which like Cirque’s Love, which uses music by The Beatles, will be accompanied by a nightclub which will draw upon the show’s themes and music.
Creative teams for the two productions along with scheduling details will be announced at a later date.
