The Broadway premiere of Richard Bean's The Nap has released the first photos of its run at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The Manhattan Theatre Club production opens September 27.

The company of The Nap includes of Alexandra Billings, Tony nominees John Ellison Conlee and Johanna Day, United States National Snooker Champion Ahmed Aly Elsayed, Ethan Hova, Heather Lind, Max Gordon Moore, Bhavesh Patel, Thomas Jay Ryan, and Ben Schnetzer.

The Nap is set in the world of snooker, the British version of pool. Dylan Spokes (Schnetzer), a fast-rising young star, arrives for a championship tournament only to be confronted by the authorities warning him of the repercussions of match fixing. Before he knows it, Dylan's forced into underhanded dealings with a cast of wildly colorful characters that include his ex-convict dad (Conlee), saucy mum (Day), quick-tongued manager (Moore), and a renowned gangster (Billings), to boot.

The creative team is made up of David Rockwell (scenic design), Kaye Voyce (costume design), Justin Townsend (lighting design), Lindsay Jones (sound design), Anne Ford-Coates (hair and make-up design), Ben Furey (dialect coach), and Thomas Schall (fight director).
