The company of the Broadway production of Hair has raised more than $15,000 through Love Out Loud: A Donation of LOVE from HAIR, a series of fundraising auctions benefiting the Fresh Air Fund.
As previously announced, the fundraiser gave individuals the opportunity to bid on a variety of special packages and lots, every two weeks. Among the lots were dinner with Hair cast member and American Idol alum Diana DeGarmo, a voice lesson with the show’s vocal coach Nadia DiGiallonardo, a walk-on role in the show, and an opening night VIP package to a Shakespeare in the Park production.
Directed by Diane Paulus and choreographed by Karole Armitage, Hair features a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot.
