Joe Cassidy, Leah Horowitz, Scott Mikita, et al. Set for Wallenberg Musical at WPPAC

Scott Mikita will star as Raoul Wallenberg in The White Plains Performing Arts Center’s production of Wallenberg, to run October 28-November 21. Emmy Award-winner Annette Jolles will direct the production, with music direction by Darren R. Cohen.

The musical tells the inspiring story of one of the greatest heroes of the 20th century. This one man’s unconventional acts of bravery saved the lives of over 100,000 people during World War II. The show has a book and lyrics by the 2006 Kleban Award-winning team of Laurence Holzman & Felicia Needleman and a score by Benjamin Rosenbluth.

The cast will also feature Leah Horowitz as the Baroness Elisabeth Kemeny; Joe Cassidy as Adolph Eichmann; Craig Waletzko as Per Anger; Alice Evans as Raoul Wallenberg’s mother; Nick Verina as Vilmos Langfelder; Eric Ulloa as Pal Szalai, Mark Campbell as the Baron Gabor Kemeny and Lauren Lebowitz as Rosa.

The company will also include Darrel Blackburn, Bret Carr, Ken Clark, Ron DeStefano, Danielle Frimer, Lewis Grosso, Kera Halbersleben, Dennis Holland, Tommy Labanaris, Robert Kalman, Mary Jo McConnell, Kelly McCormick, Benjamin Milan-Polisar, Laura Patinkin, Staci Rudnitsky, Michael Scott, and David Young.
