Fantasia Barrino to Launch Concert Tour in November

American Idol winner and Broadway veteran Fantasia Barrino will launch her Back to Me concert tour at the Landmark Theater in Richmond, Virginia on November 4. The tour will play New York’s Beacon Theatre on December 27, and conclude at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis on January 1.

Additional tour stops will include such cities as Philadelphia (November 6), Baltimore (November 7), Atlanta (November 11), Miami (November 14), Los Angeles (November 24), Dallas (December 3), Washington D.C. (December 28), and Chicago (December 30).

Barrino first came to fame when she was declared the winner of season 3 of the TV series American Idol. She starred on Broadway as Celie in the musical version of The Color Purple, and also played the part in the show’s national tour.
