Mikhail Baryshnikov, Nilo Cruz, Philip Glass, et al. Set for Ringling International Arts Festival

The lineup for the Ringling International Arts Festival, to be held October 13-17 in Sarasota, Florida, has been announced

Theater events slated for the festival include the world premiere of Nilo Cruz’ Hurricane (October 13-17), Andrew Dawson’s Space Panorama (October 14-17), and The Theater Art Studio’s The Boys.

Among the other offerings in the festival include an evening of dance featuring solos by Mikhail Baryshnikov and David Neumann (October 13-15) and the premiere of a new piece for violin by Philip Glass to be performed by Tim Fain (October 13-14).

The Festival will also feature performances by Kate Davis, Sanda Weigl, and the Les Slovaks Dance Collective, among others.
