Susan Gregg, associate artistic director of The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, has passed away, according to a report in The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. She was 65 years old.

Gregg lived alone and when friends did not hear from her, they called police, who found her body on Tuesday morning. According to the Rep, she is thought to have died of natural causes.

Gregg directed many productions at the Rep, ranging from comedies like The Royal Family to dramas like The Miracle Worker. Her work also extended to smaller pieces like Driving Miss Daisy and Side Man. In recent years she developed a special interest in plays exploring medical issues: Wit, The Clean House and A Number.
