Full Cast Announced for Atlanta’s High School Musical 2

Full casting has been announced for the professional stage premiere of Disney’s High School Musical 2, to play the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta, November 6-16. The production will be directed by Jeff Calhoun.

Featuring a book by David Simpatico, adapted from the popular television film, the show follows Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan and the rest of the East High gang as they dive into a summer of cool moves and hot competition.

The show will feature Anderson Davis (Troy), Arielle Jacobs (Gabriella), Rebecca Faulkenberry (Sharpay), Bobby List (Ryan), Shannon Antalan (Taylor), Paul Downs Colaizzo (Zeke), Michael Mahany (Jack), Olivia Oguma (Kelsi), Jelani Remy (Chad), Patrick Richwood (Fulton), and Lizzie Weiss (Martha).

The ensemble will include Tia Altinay, Andrea Best, Xavier Cano, Alicia Charles, Anthony Christian Daniel, Marjorie Failoni, Derek Ferguson, Samantha Lea Hewes, Lauren Lim Jackson, Benjamin Mapp, Tim McGarrigal, Neptune, Josh Sassanella, Melinda Sullivan, Casey Tuma, and Travis Waldschmidt.

The creative team will also include Lisa Stevens (choreographer), Bryan Louiselle (musical director and special musical adaptations / arrangements), Kenneth Foy (scenic design), Wade Laboissonniere (costume design), and Ken Billington (lighting design).

Calhoun previously directed the original Atlanta production of Disney’s High School Musical, as well as the worldwide touring productions of the show. His Broadway credits as director and choreographer include Big River, Brooklyn the Musical, and the 1994 revival of Grease!
