Porchlight Theatre Company to Present Theatrical Halloween Party American Gothic

Porchlight Theatre Company will present a Halloween themed benefit event, American Gothic, at the Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael on Friday, October 28.

The Falkirk mansion will be the backdrop for an evening which will feature dramatizations of classic stories of the macabre written by American writers Edgar Allan Poe, Washington Irving, and William Faulkner. The cost of admission will include gourmet treats and fine wines. Costumes inspired by works of Poe, Irving, and Faulkner are encouraged but not required, and prizes will be awarded.

Porchlight Theatre Company was established in 1999. The company features professional actors in outdoor summer productions presented at the Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross, California. Porchlight Theatre Company also presents experimental staged readings, special theater events, and educational programs.
