Lea Salonga to Perform at August 28 San Diego Padres Game

Tony Award winner Lea Salonga will perform at the August 28 San Diego Padres game against the Philadelphia Phillies. The game will be broadcast live on FOX-TV.

Salonga will perform the National Anthem before the game as well as “God Bless America” during the seventh-inning stretch.

Salonga won a Tony Award for her performance in Miss Saigon and her stage credits also include Les Miserables and Cinderella. Her voice has been heard in the Disney movies Mulan and Aladdin.

She made her New York cabaret debut at the Café Carlyle earlier this year with The Journey So Far and also participated in Broadway Backwards.
