Christine Ebersole, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michele Pawk Set for Cancer Research Benefit

Tony Award winners Christine Ebersole and Brian Stokes Mitchell will perform at a benefit for cancer research and patient care at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) and UPMC Cancer Centers, to be held at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, October 19 at 5:30pm. Tony Award winner Michele Pawk will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.

Ebersole received Tony Awards for her work in Grey Gardens and 42nd Street. Her many other Broadway credits include Blithe Spirit, Steel Magnolias, and Oklahoma! She was also named the recipient of a 2011 Nightlife Award for Outstanding Cabaret Vocalist in a Major Engagement.

Mitchell received a Tony Award for his role as Fred Graham in Kiss Me Kate. In addition, he was Tony-nominated for his performances in Man of La Mancha, Ragtime, and King Hedley II. He most recently appeared on Broadway in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Pawk won the Tony for her performance in Hollywood Arms. Her many stage credits include Mamma Mia!, Hairspray, The Dark at the Top of the Stairs, Bounce, Seussical, The Paris Letter, Prayer for My Enemy, and A Small Fire.
