Center City Theatre Works Announces Cast for The Shadow Box

Center City Theatre Works has announced casting for its inaugural production, The Shadow Box, to be mounted on the stage Upstairs at the Adrienne, May 4-21. Jeffrey Lesser will direct.

In Michael Cristofer’s Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning play, a trio of terminally ill patients, who live with their families in separate cottages at a hospice facility are being interviewed about the process of dying. The first is Joe, a middle-aged, blue-collar family man. The second person is Brian, a bisexual English professor who is being cared for by his lover Mark. And the third person is the elderly, cantankerous Felicity.

The cast will include Ken Cohen, James Lepone, Melissa Connell, Isaiah Ellis, Marc Forget, John Schultz, Kirsten Quinn, Hilary Kayle Crist, and Mindi Ginsberg. The set designer will be S Cory Palmer and the lighting designer will be Jessica Wallace.
