York Theatre Company to Present Charles Troy's Hello, Jerry!

The York Theatre Company will present the New York debut of musical theater historian Charles Troy in Hello, Jerry!, a one-night multimedia presentation celebrating the life and career of legendary Broadway composer Jerry Herman. The event will take place January 24 at Saint Peter's.

Charles Troy has created more than 50 multimedia presentations on musical theater subjects. His works employ a blend of recorded songs, original graphics, scanned photos, historic video, and extensively researched, scripted narrative to dramatize the stories behind the great creations and creators of the American musical theater.

"We are thrilled to present Charles Troy, the renowned musical theatre historian, as we launch our Winter 2017 Musicals in Mufti series celebrating the incomparable Jerry Herman and Kurt Weill," stated York’s producing artistic director James Morgan in a statement.

The York Theatre Company is dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past.
