Stage and screen veteran Molly Ringwald will star as Aurora Greenway in Dan Gordon​'s U.S. premiere stage adaptation of Terms of Endearment from October 29 to December 11 at 59E59 Theaters. Michael Parva is set to direct the production

Based on the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Larry McMurtry and the Oscar-winning screenplay by James L. Brooks, Gordon's play traces the relationship between a highly opinionated mother and her feisty daughter as they seek to find humor and courage in the face of life's challenges.

Ringwald has previously appeared on the New York stage in the Broadway productions of Cabaret and Enchanted April as well as off-Broadway in Tick, Tick…Boom!, the Pulitzer Prize-winning How I Learned to Drive, and more. Her numerous films include the iconic movies Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Pretty in Pink.
