Ensemble Studio Theatre Announces Continuation of Frank Basloe's Please Continue
Ensemble Studio Theatre has announced an extension for its currently running production of Please Continue, written by Frank Basloe and directed by William Carden. The show, which was originally set to close on February 28, will now play through March 6 at EST’s Curt Dempster Theatre.
Presented in association with The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, Please Continue is described as follows: "Yale, early 1960s. Professor Stanley Milgram's "obedience experiments" test how cruel people can be when they are just following orders. Milgram gets the data he needs, but the lab assistant who conducted the experiment is left to grapple with his own responsibility."
The cast of Please Continue features Haskell King, David Jackson, Tommy Schrider, Jared McGuire, Jonathan Randell Silver, Dylan Dawson, Alex Herrald, and Molly Carden.
The EST/Sloan Project has commissioned and developed hundreds of new science-themed plays and is also funding four productions and workshops through NP2 Regional Seed Grants.
