Tony Award winner Elizabeth Ashley and three-time Tony nominee Brian Murray will star in the New York premiere of Edward Albee’s Me, Myself & I, which will open Playwrights Horizons’ 2010/2011 season in August 2010. Emily Mann will direct. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The play, about identical twin brothers both named Otto, takes sibling rivalry to existential heights. Mann directed the play’s world premiere at the McCarter Theatre, where she is artistic director, in January 2008 in a production that also featured Murray.

Ashley, who will play Mother, won a Tony for Take Her, She’s Mine and was Tony-nominated for Barefoot in the Park and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Her most recent Broadway credits include August: Osage County and Dividing the Estate. Murray, who will play Doctor, was Tony-nominated for his work in The Crucible, The Little Foxes, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. He appeared on Broadway earlier this year in Mary Stuart.
