Rabbit Hole Film, Starring Nicole Kidman, Will Get December 17 Limited Release

Lionsgate Films has acquired John Cameron Mitchell’s big-screen version of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Rabbit Hole, and will distribute it for limited release on December 17, with a wide release scheduled for January 14, 2011 according to published reports.
The film, which debuted earlier this month at the Toronto International Film Festival, stars Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart as a couple devastated by the loss of their son.
The cast also includes stage veterans Tammy Blanchard, Dianne Wiest, Sandra Oh, Jon Tenney, Patricia Kalember, Mike Doyle, and Giancarlo Esposito.
