Edward Albee, Patricia Clarkson to Appear at NYC’s LGBT Center

Stage and screen star Patricia Clarkson will appear in conversation with Bill Goldstein at New York City’s LGBT Center at 7pm on Monday, September 20; while Pulitzer Prize winner Edward Albee will speak with New York Times reporter Patrick Healy at 7pm on Tuesday, September 28.

Clarkson’s stage credits include The Maiden’s Prayer, Raised in Captivity, Three Days of Rain, and The Maderati.She received an Oscar nomination for Pieces of April, and has appeared in such films as Cairo Time, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Far From Heaven, Good Night, and Good Luck, The Dying Gaul, and will soon be seen in Main Street, written by Horton Foote and directed by John Doyle. She won the Emmy Award for her work in Six Feet Under.


Albee is currently represented Off-Broadway with at Playwrights Horizons. His many plays include Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, A Delicate Balance, Seascape, and The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?
