Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs Welcome Son

Tony Award winner Idina Menzel and husband Taye Diggs are parents to a son, Walker Diggs, according to published reports. He is the couple’s first child.
The couple, who met when both were performing in the original cast of Rent, were married in January 2003. Menzel won a Tony Award for her performance in Wicked and was recently seen in a concert version of Chess at Royal Albert Hall. Diggs is a regular on the ABC drama Private Practice. Both actors repeated their roles in the film version of Rent.
