Oscar winner and Broadway veteran Julia Roberts will be honored at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain on September 20 with the Donostia Award, according to Variety.
Roberts made her Broadway debut in Richard Greenberg’s Three Days of Rain and participated last year in the LAByrinth Theatre Company’s annual Celebrity Charades.
She is currently on the big screen in Eat, Pray, Love. Roberts won an Academy Award for her portrayal of the title character in Erin Brockovich, and her many other screen credits include Duplicity, Charlie Wilson’s War, Notting Hill, Steel Magnolias, Pretty Woman, Sleeping With the Enemy, Runaway Bride, and Closer.
