Blackhurst, Brinberg, Ebersole, Gets, Pedi, Phillips, Shindle, Stritch to Play Birdland in June

The June line-up for Broadway at Birdland, co-sponsored by Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.com, has been announced. All shows begin at 7pm.

Legally Blonde star Kate Shindle and composer Brian Lowdermilk will appear on June 2; Simply Barbara's Steven Brinberg will salute the Tony Awards on June 9 with special guests Malcolm Gets and Sian Phillips; Klea Blackhurst and Billy Stritch will celebrate the release of their new CD Dreaming of a Song: The Music of Hoagy Carmichael on June 16; Christine Pedi will present her show Uncaged on June 23; and Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole will return to the club on June 30 with Stritch to perform selections from their new CD Sunday in New York.

Broadway star Mara Davi, whose credits include A Chorus Line and The Drowsy Chaperone, will appear at the club on May 19 with her new show Dreaming Wide Awake; and composer Georgia Stitt will play there with special guests Kate Baldwin, Lauren Kennedy, Anthony Holds, Jennifer Simard, Randy Redd, and Elizabeth Salem on May 26.
