M-34 to Present Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis and Franz Kafka’s Letter To My Father In Repertory
M-34 is set to present 4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane and Letter To My Father by Franz Kafka together in repertory, May 10-27 at Brooklyn’s Magic Futurebox Theatre. James Rutherford will direct.
Michael Guagno will star in Letter To My Father, a 1919 letter from an ailing Franz Kafka to his father. The letter, in which Franz writes of his hope that he might one day measure up to such a remarkable man, was never delivered.
4.48 Psychosis will star Emily Gleeson and Lizzie Vieh. Written on the eve of Sarah Kane’s suicide, the play tells the inner drama of a mind at the point of combustion.
