Jonathan Hadary, Gregory Maguire to Be Honored With Tufts University’s P.T. Barnum Awards

Tony Award nominee Jonathan Hadary will be honored with the P.T. Barnum Award for Excellence by his alma mater, Tufts University, at the 8th annual From Ballou to Broadway event, which will take place at 7pm on Monday, June 11 at Lincoln Center’s Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse.

Wicked author Gregory Maguire, choreographer Betsy Gregory, artistic director of Dance Umberlla UK, and NBC producer Marian Porges will also be honored that evening.

Hadary is currently appearing in the George Street Playhouse’s production of Twelve Angry Men. He received a Tony Award nomination for his role as Herbie opposite Tyne Daly in Gypsy and a Drama Desk Award as a member of the ensemble of Lincoln Center Theater’s production of Awake and Sing!


His many other Broadway credits include Monty Python’s Spamalot, All Shook Up, The Best Man, Guys and Dolls, Gypsy, As Is, Torch Song Trilogy and Gemini.
