Julie Andrews, Lynda Carter, Sutton Foster, Dick Van Dyke, et al. Set for Barnes & Noble Events in May

Barnes & Noble has announced its in-store events for May, scheduled for locations throughout Manhattan.

Sutton Foster will offer a performance and CD signing at the booksellers’ store on East 86th Street on May 9 at 5pm to celebrate the release of her new album, An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Café Carlyle. Other events scheduled for this location include a performance and CD signing featuring cast members from Broadway’s Wonderland, scheduled for May 19 at 5pm to coincide with the release of the show’s cast album; and a performance by cast members from the family show Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale, to be offered on May 20 at 7pm. In addition, stage and screen legend Julie Andrews will be at the store on May 10 at 7pm for a book-signing that will be held in conjunction with the release of The Very Fairy Princess Takes the Stage.

Elsewhere, Lynda Carter will offer a performance and take part in a CD signing at the Barnes & Noble at Warren and Greenwich Streets on May 2 at 6pm, offered in conjunction with the release of her disc, Crazy Little Things. On May 4 at 7pm, Dick Van Dyke will take part in a conversation about his new book, My Lucky Life In and Out of Show Business at the Barnes & Noble at Union Square, and on May 6 at 12:30pm, Betty White will sign copies of If You Ask Me (And of Course You Won’t) at the store on Fifth Avenue and 46th Street.
