Ana Gasteyer, John Oliver, Kristen Schaal, Jon Stewart Set for Story Pirates’ After School Special Benefit

Ana Gasteyer, John Oliver, Kristen Schaal and Jon Stewart will take part in The Story Pirates’ third annual After School Special, to be held on Friday, May 20 at Peter Norton Symphony Space at 5pm. The performance will raise funds for the organization, which is dedicated to bringing quality arts and creative writing programs to low-income students.

At the event, the Story Pirates will present a special version of their musical sketch comedy show and the special guests will bring stories written by kids seated in the audience to life. In addition to the entertainment, there will be a silent auction at the fundraiser.

Story Pirates is also hosting an online auction that features the chance to have Stewart perform in a lucky child’s original story. Bidding on this item will close on May 13. Other online auction items include a gym membership to Crunch and tickets to a taping of The Daily Show. Bidding on these and other lots will continue until midnight on May 19.
