Rita Wilson will guest-star on Law & Order: SVU, according to a report on TVGuide.com. Her appearance is scheduled for an episode slated to air in May.
Wilson will play a woman who is the mother of a teenager who is under investigation on the show.
Wilson has appeared on Broadway in Chicago, at the Geffen Playhouse in Collected Stories, and in Distracted at the Mark Taper Forum. Among her film credits are Sleepless in Seattle, Runaway Bride and It’s Complicated . In addition, she has recently made guest appearances on The Good Wife.
