Alec Baldwin, Modern Family, South Park, et al. Win Inaugural Comedy Awards

The Inaugural Comedy Awards were held at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and will subsequently be broadcast on April 10 on Comedy Central, Spike TV, TV Land, VH1 and Nick At Nite simultaneously.

Winners included 30 Rock star and Tony Award nominee Alec Baldwin, and the TV series South Park — written by The Book of Mormon‘s Trey Parker and Matt Stone — and Modern Family.

Other winners included actors Tina Fey, Zach Galifianakis, and Kristen Wiig; comedians Louis C.K. and Daniel Tosh; TV series Children’s Hospital and The Daily Show With Jon Stewart; and the films Toy Story 3 and The Ohter Guys. In additon, special awards were given to actor Eddie Murphy and talk show host David Letterman.
